Roger Federer Receives Official International Tennis Hall of Fame Ring at US Open
The five-time US Open champion and newest Hall of Famer was presented with his custom ring in front of fans in Arthur Ashe Stadium
Two days after his emotional induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, 20-time major champion Roger Federer received his official Hall of Fame ring inside Arthur Ashe Stadium at the US Open on Monday evening.
The Swiss icon was presented his ring in front of the night session fans by Hall of Fame Co-President Kim Clijsters, and joined on court by ITHF CEO Dan Faber, fellow Co-President Patrick McEnroe, US Open Tournament Director Eric Butorac, USTA CEO Craig Tiley and Chairman of the USTA Board Brian Vahaly.
Custom made by Baron®, the Official Ring Provider of the ITHF, the ring is presented separate from the induction ceremony at a special event or location around the world that has particular meaning to the inductee. The ITHF ring commemorates Hall of Famers’ place amongst the sport’s greatest champions and contributors and serves as a permanent symbol of an elite place in tennis history, celebrating the inductee's legacy among family, friends, and fans.
Federer received the honor on the same court where he captured five consecutive US Open titles from 2004 through 2008. Over the course of his 18 appearances at the tournament, he achieved an 85-13 record and ranks third all-time in singles victories.

I was a little boy who dared to dream when I was young. Everyone who is young in this stadium or at home, hopefully they also have a dream and they pursue it. It can bring you to a place like here tonight, or to getting inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.”

Monday’s ring presentation served as a fitting culmination to Federer’s weeklong induction celebrations. Over the weekend, the champion was honored in Newport, Rhode Island, alongside fellow Class of 2026 inductee Mary Carillo. Fans, celebrities, and fellow Hall of Famers gathered to watch Federer return to the grass courts during the Hall of Fame Celebrity Pro Classic presented by Fidelity Investments. The weekend lineup also featured the Fit for Fame Blazer Dinner, Courting Fashion presented by Chubb, the Fame Fest fan village, and a series of exclusive events accompanying the ultimate honor in tennis.
