Call for Nominations: Class of 2024 Contributor Category

Induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame is the ultimate honor in tennis. It represents the sum of one's achievements and contributions as being among the most inspiring and transformative in tennis history.

The Hall of Fame inducts candidates in three categories – Player, Contributor, and Wheelchair Tennis.

In recent years, the Contributor Category has been considered every 4 years.

A recent amendment to the Policies & Procedures now calls for the Contributor Category to be considered every two years.

As a result, the ITHF is now gathering nominations for the ITHF Class of 2024 for the Contributor Category.

All nominations that have been submitted in the past 6 years are kept on file and considered. If you have already submitted a nomination for someone, you do not need to nominate again.

Eligibility criteria for the Contributor Category is:

  • A true pioneer, visionary leader, or individual / group who has made a transcendent impact on the sport.
  • Consideration given to integrity, sportsmanship, and character.
  • Candidates must be either five years removed from committed work in tennis or at least 65 years of age.

If there are tennis greats who you think should be considered, nominations are now being accepted online.

The deadline to submit a nomination for the Class of 2024 is July 5, 2023.
