Museum and Grounds Reopening Updates and Policies
The International Tennis Hall of Fame will be reopening to the public on Thursday, June 18. As with many places you know and love, a 2020 visit to the International Tennis Hall of Fame may be a little different than it has in the past, but the Museum and historic grounds will hold the same wonder and history as they always have.
We are excited to see visitors once again, we have implemented the following policies to keep our visitors and staff safe and healthy:
• New Hours: Open Thursday - Sunday, 10 am – 5 pm
• A maximum of 20 visitors will be allowed in the museum at a time.
• Visitors to the museum will be required to wear a mask while visiting the museum and walking around the grounds. If you do not have a mask, our staff will provide you with one.
• Online ticket purchasing is encouraged. Tickets may be purchased here.
• Docent-led and audio tours will be paused indefinitely.
• There will be no seating in the USTA Wing of the museum.
• The Roger Federer Hologram will be limited to two people at a time.
• Frequent deep cleaning will take place throughout the property and in all high touch areas.
• While touring the 7-acre campus of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, visitors must maintain keep a 6-foot distance between those in your party and other visitors. Masks must be worn on the grounds at all times.
These regulations are being implemented in accordance with Phase 2 of the State of Rhode Island’s Reopening Plan and with the priority to keep our guests and employees safe and healthy amid the ongoing global pandemic. If you have any additional questions, please call 401.849.3990.
In the museum this summer, visitors will enjoy new exhibits on display, including a tribute to the Original 9 - the nine brave women who banded together to launch women's professional tennis 50 years ago this year.
