Grass Courts Open

Grass Courts Open

A sure sign of spring in Newport, the historic grass tennis courts will open for the season! Courts are open to the public for hourly rentals and seasonal memberships are available. Programs include social play, group clinics, and private instruction. In 1881, these courts hosted the first U.S. Natioal Lawn Tennis Championships - the event that evolved into today's US Open. All of the sport's greatest legends have competed on these very courts over the years, and you can play too!
