Our property has an exquisite centerpiece - a picturesque gem situated in the midst of our historic grass courts. The horseshoe-shaped covered porch and meticulously mannicured grounds are the perfect setting for al fresco dining and cocktails.  The largest of all our venues, the Horseshoe Piazza and Court blend a relaxed feel with Newport elegance.

Available April-November. Transparent screen panles can be owered in teh event of cool or inclemement weather. Heater rentals are also available.

USTA Wing & Porch

USTA Porch

This versatile indoor/outdoor space exudes a level of sophistication that truly makes a statement.  The USTA Wing is an extension of our museum, spaciously transformed by high ceilings, a wall of glass French doors, and moveable exhibits.  For a breath of fresh air, step out on the latticework porch and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the beautifully landscaped property.

The USTA Wing is equipped with a state-of-the-art audio-visual system, including a built-in digital projector and an 8'x8' screen, ideal for showcasing PowerPoint or video presentations.  Free wireless Internet service.

Available year-round. The USTA Wing is our interior venue and can ben combined with the outdoor USTA Porch.  Transparent side panels are available.  Heater rental suggested in winter.

The Canfield House

Located on the Hall of Fame property, The Canfield House is a classic Victorian building, ideal for elegant yet comfortable dinners, brunches, and gatherings. Stunning architectural details like stained glass, mahogany-paneled ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and working fireplaces create a refined and distinguished atmosphere.  Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the lounge flow seamlessly to a sit-down dinner in the dining room for a memorable culinary experience.

Off-street parking available in the lot adjacent to The Canfield House.
Food and beverage for all events hosted at The Canfield House must be managed through the Hall of Fame's exclusive partner, Blackstone Caterers, which offers an extensive menu and outstanding service.

East Porch and Executive Porch

The East and Executive Porches are quaint spaces overlooking the specatucular grass courts.  Both porches have limited availability, even in season, but they might just be the right fit for your special event.  

Available April-October. Both are outdoor-only venues. Transparent side panels are available. Heater rental suggested in spring and fall.

Executive Lounge

This space is a convenient and inviting place where you can easily transition your meeting to comfortable dining or a cocktail reception.

A working fireplace adds a cozy ambience during cooler months.  Large windows create an open, airy feel with natural light, along with a view of the nbeuatiful Hall of Fame grounds and stunnig architecture.  LED screens have been permanently installed and can be used for branding, slideshows, or live television.  Available year-round.

Memorial Board Room

The Memorial Boardroom is located in our brand-new building, designed with a stunning shingle style facade to complement the historic character of the entire Hall of Fame property.  Inside you'll find a truly modern and sophisticated meeting space with a comfortable layout to inspire productivity.

A wall of nearly floor-to-ceiling windows welcomes an abundance of natural light and provides a lovely view of the Hall of Fame grass courts during the summer months.

Among the include amenities are high back leather chairs around a rich mahogany conference table, Polycom conference phone system, wall-mounted LCD flat screen for presentations, and wireless Internet.

Bring the property's elegant ambience to life with a tennis match on Horseshoe Court, featuring players dressed in turn-of-the-century tennis apparel. Your guests will feel as though they've stepped right into Newport's Gilded Age.

Croquet

Your guests can relax and enjoy some friendly competition with this classic lawn game on our historic grass courts. Up to 8 guests per round (4 teams of 2) can play under the instruction of a croquet pro. Rounds last approximately 30 minutes each.

When it's time for a breakout session, our Museum Scavenger Hunt is an entertaining and interactive way to reenergize your employees. As teams try to solve clues, they'll not only learn abou tthe sport of tennis, but find out who is equipped with strong problem solving skills.  It's a great team building exercise that can also boost employee morale.

Located in Little Compton, RI, the vineyard's microclimate and soil conditions resemble the maritime climate of northern France, producing some of New England’s most popular and distinctive wines.
