Nestled in the heart of Newport, RI, the legendary grass courts and beautiful buildings of the Hall of Fame Lawn Tennis Club are among the world’s most historic tennis facilities. In 1881, the site hosted the first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championships – the event that became today’s US Open. Over the years, the greatest tennis champions have played on these courts – and now you can too!
Officially opening for another great season on May 18, the facility features 13 grass tennis courts and 1 Har-Tru Clay Court. A world-class tennis staff, led by former WTA pro Mary Rompf, oversees a robust programming schedule of clinics, private instruction, tournaments, round robins, and leagues.
