Expand your understanding of the history of tennis and the Newport Casino by attending books signings and lectures. Speakers discuss a variety of topics on a monthly basis.
Families searching for fun and educational activities are sure to enjoy the many programs offered by the Museum. During Christmas in Newport (December) and Newport Winter Fest (February), the Museum offers numerous activities and programs including: daily crafts, scavenger hunts, Wii Tennis, a drawing contest, Tennis Olympics, Quick Start Tennis, photos with the replica US Open trophy, and daily guided tours.
Family Weekend (July 11 and 12) is a two-day family affair in conjunction with the qualifying round of the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. In addition to watching the qualifying rounds, families and children of all ages can participate in a junior clinic on the horseshoe court. Other activities include face painting, crafts, scavenger hunts, Old Fashion tennis photos, and guided tours of the museum.
