A Grounds Pass allows visitors to walk the beautifully manicured six-acre property and view the 13 grass courts, Court Tennis Facility, and the exterior architecture of the historic Newport Casino. Stationed throughout the grounds are several interpretative oval signs providing additional information about the historic site and history of tennis.
The Museum offers a self-guided audio tour of the Museum. The tour covers the Museum, highlights from the collection, and the unique history of the Newport Casino. Interspersed throughout is commentary from our Hall of Famers.

The Museum provides fact sheets with information about the site, historic Newport Casino, and the history of tennis, including many interesting facts and anecdotes.

To provide an entertaining and educational experience for families and children, a scavenger hunt is available. The scavenger hunt allows visitors a fun way to explore the museum galleries and answer questions about the history of tennis and the historic Newport Casino. Prizes are awarded for successfully completing the scavenger hunt. Please ask for a copy at the Admissions Desk.
The Museum offers special group rates. To secure a group rate you must make arrangements in advance.

Information Research Center
The Information Research Center (IRC), located on the third floor of the museum, is home to a comprehensive collection of information related to the history of tennis and the Newport Casino. The library and archives hold more than 5,000 tennis-related books, periodicals, and published reference materials, tournament programs and media guides, a photographic collection of more than 300,000 images, and nearly 4,000 film and video elements. The Information Research Center is open to visitors Monday through Friday by appointment.

After your visit, please stop by our Museum Gift Shop and browse our selection of books, apparel, and museum items inspired by our world-class collection of tennis memorabilia and images. The Gift Shop is open during regular museum hours. ITHF&M Members receive a 15% discount.

The ITHF is housed in the historic Newport Casino located at 194 Bellevue Avenue and is easily accessible from all major destinations in downtown Newport.

Additional Information for Visitors
The Museum is located on the second floor. Elevator access is available.
Small strollers are permitted throughout the Museum. Visitors are asked to leave their backpacks, large bags and tennis racquets on the ground floor near the Admissions Desk. The ITHF is not responsible for any items left at the Admissions Desk.
Photography without flash is permitted in all the galleries unless otherwise noted. Flash photography, video, and the use of tripods are not permitted in the galleries.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds and eating and drinkingare not permitted in the galleries.
Cell phones and pagers must be turned off or set to a silent alert at all times. Please refrain from using cell phones in the galleries.
To avoid damage to our irreplaceable historical artifacts, please do not touch any of the objects, artwork, or exhibit cases in the Museum.
