Daily Round Up - Sunday, July 4

Playing with the Pros: A group of tennis enthusiasts got an up-close preview at some of the competition in this week's tournament during an ATP World Tour Doubles Pro-Am that was held at the Tennis Hall of Fame over the weekend. Twelve fans participated in the grass court event, playing against and alongside twelve ATP World Tour professionals.

Fun for the Whole Family: Local families and visitors came out to celebrate Fourth of July at the Hall of Fame, where they were dazzled by an extraordinary balloon artist, hit the courts for tennis clinics, toured the Museum, and took in all the action of the second Qualifying Round.

On the Mound: Tossing out the first pitch for the home team was defending champion Rajeev Ram, who stepped up to get the game started for the Newport Gulls baseball team. Ram was joined in the diamond by the ever popular Hall of Fame mascot, Penny.

On Monday... Round 1 begins! Check back for photos of the competition when 2002 Champion Taylor Dent takes to the court, along with Jamaican star Dustin Brown and wild card Ryan Harrison.
