Hall of Fame Tennis Championships played for the Van Alen Cup/Rolex Hall of Fame Weekend featuring the 2014 Enshrinement Ceremony

Just after Wimbeldon, top ATP World Tour pros will come to Newport for the only pro tournament played on grass courts in North or South America. Catch all of the action of exciting pro tennis on the historic grass courts. In reccent years, the field has been highlighted by top pros including John Isner, Lleyton Hewitt, and 2013 Singles and Doubles Champion Nicolas Mahut. The intimate, historic stadium offers incredible views close to the action, and fun special events including tennis clinics and autograph sessions make it fun for all ages! Festivities begin with Family Weekend & Qualifying Rounds on July 5-6, and Main Draw action gets underway on July 7.

A unique highlight of the week is the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony on Saturday, July 12, when the highest honor in tennis is presented to the sport's great champions and leaders. Enshrinees for 2014 include former world No. 1 Lindsay Davenport and wheelchair tennis great Chantal Vandierendonck in the Recent Player Category. In recognition of their dedication to the growth and development of the sport, the Contributor Category enshrinees include legendary coach Nick Bolletteri, Jane Brown Grimes, who has held executive leadership roles with the WTA, USTA, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and British broadcaster and author John Barrett.
