The Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, scheduled for July 4-10, 2011 will host 32 of the top players in the world on the legendary grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The first American stop on the ATP World Tour following Wimbledon, Newport is the only professional grass court tournament in North America.

Part of ATP World Tour, the tournament is one of 17 events in North America. Top male players come to Newport direct from Wimbledon to compete for the Van Alen Cup and $442,500 in prize money. The highlight of the tournament week is the Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2011. Our National Historic Landmark facility hosted the first US National Tennis Championships in 1881, a tournament that was held here for 34 years and evolved into today’s US Open. Today our tournament stands as the only remaining grass court event in North America. The six-acre site offers an atmosphere of unparalleled ambiance, with its balustrade porches, thirteen grass courts and world class museum. |
